CENTRAL CITY – Delbert Glenn “Petey” Chumley II, 50, of Central City died Sunday, January 19, 2025 at 8:37a.m. at his residence. Born August 2, 1974 in Muhlenberg County. He was of the Baptist faith and was a Union Installer for the Local 37 in Evansville. He enjoyed watching football, playing Poker, working out, going to the Horse track, gambling, influencing others, being with his family, and praising Jesus. He was preceded in death by his wife, Keena Chumley; and parents, Delbert Chumley I and Carolyn Chumley.
Survivors include his daughters, Brittany Daniel (Tim Diaz), and Nayana Chumley; one son, Delbert Glenn “Tre” Chumley III; grandchildren, Brilee Daniel, McKinlee Daniel, and Jaylee Daniel; brother, Robert “Bobby” Chumley; several aunts and uncles; and several niece and nephews.
A Celebration of Life will be Thursday, January 23, 2025 at 1p.m. at Tucker Funeral Home in Central City. Burial will be private. Visitation will be Thursday from 11 a.m. -1 p.m. at the funeral home.
