GREENVILLE – Deborah Jean Boggess, 67, of Greenville, died Monday, November 13, 2023 at her home surrounded by loved ones. Born May 12, 1956 in Chicago, Ill. to Leonard and Joyce Hardison, she graduated from Lewisburg High School in 1974. She worked 35 years at Muhlenberg Community Hospital in the Pathology Department and retired in 2013. Debbie enjoyed playing cards, reading, and crocheting. She mostly loved spending time with her family and cooking for others. Debbie and Jeff were avid campers and also active members of Second Baptist Church in Greenville, KY.
She was preceded in death by her father, Leonard Hardison, of Lewisburg.
Survivors include her husband of 50 years, Jeffery Dean Boggess; children Scott (Renee) Boggess and Todd (Carah) Boggess; grandchildren Carter Boggess, Allison (Allie) Boggess, and Reece Boggess; Mother Joyce Hardison; siblings Ronald (Diane) Hardison, Darlene (late Marcus) Miller, Janet (Bobby) Nash, Terry (Pam) Hardison; and Lauretta (Mike) Nash.
Visitation and funeral services will be held at Tucker Funeral Home, 113 N. 3rd Street, Central City, KY 42330. Visitation will be Wednesday November 15, 2023 from 5:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m. and the funeral service will be Thursday November 16, 2023 at 10:00 a.m. with Dr. Kevin Milburn officiating and Bro.
