David Rhea Boggess, Sr. (Mr. B)

LEWISBURG – David Rhea Boggess Sr. (Mr. B) 79 of Lewisburg went home to be with his Lord and Savior after a long battle with cancer Monday October 21, 2024 surrounded by his family. Born on December 1, 1944 in Greenville to the late John Rhea and Emma Jane Boggess.

He graduated from Greenville High School Class of 1962, owner of Boggess Electronics for over 50 years, a drill sergeant in the United States Army Reserves and a previous city council member for the city of Lewisburg. He enjoyed going to work and loved to talk to his many customers and friends. Sometimes not letting them get a word in edgewise. He loved his family like no other. They were his world and his pride and joy. He was a member of New Paradise Baptist Church. He loved Kentucky Basketball and Dodgers baseball. He was a friend to all who knew him.
