CENTRAL CITY – David Lee Bruce, 73, of Central City died Friday, December 8, 2023 at 12:30 p.m. at Owensboro Health Muhlenberg Community Hospital in Greenville. Born June 24, 1950 in Muhlenberg County, he was of the Baptist Faith and worked for Ford. He was preceded in death by his parents Everett Bruce, and Ava Nell Bruce; sisters Freda Neptune, and Patricia Kingsley; and brothers Tommy Bruce, and Danny Bruce.
Survivors include his son Tim Bruce of Evansville; daughter Carol Bruce of Central City; four grandchildren; brothers Don Bruce, and John Bruce; and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be Tuesday, December 12, 2023 at 1:00 p.m. at Tucker Funeral Home in Central City with Bro. Curtis McGehee officiating. Burial will follow in Mt. Pisgah Cemetery.
