GREENVILLE- David Jule Russ, 73, of Greenville died Saturday, October 28, 2023 at Owensboro Health Muhlenberg Community Hospital in Greenville. Born December 28, 1949 in Muhlenberg County, he was a retired coal miner, and a truck driver for Jones Trucking. He was preceded in death by his son, Jeffery Russ; father, Jule Russ; mother, Willow Knight.
Survivors include his wife, Barbara Mosby Russ; children, Beverly (Jody) Denton, David (Linda) Russ, Mike (Crystal) Russ, and Jeff (Lori) Warner; nine grandchildren; fourteen great-grandchildren; sister, Bonnie (Phillip) Ford; brother, Donnie Russ; several nieces and nephews.
Graveside services will be Tuesday, October 31, 2023 at 1:00 p.m. at Rose Hill Cemetery in Central City. Tucker Funeral Home in Central City is in charge of arrangements. Online condolences can be made at www.tuckerfuneralhomes.com.
