SACRAMENTO – David Bartley Rainwaters, 55, of Sacramento, died Wednesday, June 26, 2024, at 3:53 a.m. at his residence. Born January 9, 1969, in Calhoun. He was a machine operator for Greenville Plastics Co., and a member of Cathedral of Hope Church. David loved his family, especially his children and grandchildren. His dogs Oreo and Piper always put a smile on his face. He loved to watch Scooby Doo, especially with his grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his father, Oscar “Frosty” Rainwaters.
Survivors include his wife, Kathy Rainwaters; children, Latasha Miller, Eugene Jones, and Teddy Piper; five grandchildren; mother, Doris Rainwaters; sister, Barbara Whittinghill; several nieces and nephews; several great-nieces and great-nephews; and special neighbors, Brenda and Marvin Whitmer.
Visitation will be Friday, June 28, 2024, from 3 p.m. – 6 p.m. at Tucker Memorial Chapel in Sacramento.
