GREENVILLE – Datha Gary Harris Young 93, formerly of Madisonville, died Saturday, June 21, 2025. Born May 8, 1932 in Greenville, the daughter of Elta Kennedy Gary and James Irvin Gary. Datha was founder and previous owner of Merle Norman in Greenville and Powderly for many years. She was a member of Lighthouse Pentecostal Church in Madisonville. She is preceded in death by her parents, one son, William Gary Bridges, husbands, Bill Bridges, Wallace Harris, and Roy Young, one grandson, Chip Bridges, sister, Verna Fink, brother, Irvin Wright Gary and two nephews, Jon Fink and Steve Gary.
Funeral services will be conducted from Gary’s Funeral Home on Wednesday, June 25, 2025 at 11:00 a.m. by Dr. Paul Moore with burial to follow in Evergreen Cemetery in Greenville.
Survivors include one: son, Chuck Bridges of Greenville; one Granddaughter; one Grandson; three Great Grandsons; One Great Granddaughter; Two Nephews; One Niece.
