DRAKESBORO – Daniel (Buddy) Lawrence Epley, 78, of Drakesboro, passed away March 10, 2026, at Owensboro Health Regional Hospital. Born January 21, 1948, in Greenville and was the beloved son of the late Daniel Ray and Ollie Mae Epley. He was a hard worker and showed his strength throughout the years as a grave digger for both Tucker Funeral Home and Rose Hill Cemetery, working in chicken houses with his brother in law, Roger, as well as built houses and worked at the water office.
hose left to cherish his memory include his dear wife of 54 years, Velma Epley; children, Brian (Samantha) Epley, Micheal (Krystal) Epley, and Crystal (Jason) Mayhugh; grandchildren, Alyssa, Brooklyn, Christian, Daniel, Scott, Remington, River Epley, Coby Bolen and R.J. Chumley; special friend Joe Bolen; as well as many other loving family and friends.
