BELTON – Cody Dean Stroud, 53, of Belton, died Tuesday, December 15, 2020, at Owensboro Health Muhlenberg Community Hospital. Born May 29, 1967, in San Andreas, California. He was a self-employed logger.
Survivors include his wife, Debbie Loney; sons Kyle (Jessieca) Stroud and Bubba Stroud; daughters Tammy (Kara) Stroud and Jennifer Green; step-daughters Alicia (David) Colburn and Lauren (Jermiah) Groves; ten grandchildren; mother Viola Potter; brother Copy Stroud; and sisters Tammy Bales and Buffy Stroud.
Funeral services will be Saturday, December 19, 2020, at 11:00 a.m. at Tucker Funeral Home in Central City, with Rev. Kyle Stroud officiating. Burial will follow in Gish Cemetery. Visitation will be Friday after 5:00 p.m. at the funeral home. Family and friends are asked to wear a face covering, in accordance with the governor’s mandate.
