POWDERLY – Clyde Henry Watson, 86, of Powderly, died Thursday, February 4, 2021, at Greenville Nursing and Rehab. Born December 8, 1934, in Madisonville, Tenn. He was the youngest of six brothers and sisters, who preceded him in death. He was an auto mechanic and U.S. Air Force veteran. He was preceded in death by his parents, Ernst and Nellie Watson.
Survived by Doris Lee, the love of his life for the past 37 years; six sons and his sweet puppy, Charlotte.
Funeral services will be Monday, February 8, 2021, at 12:00 p.m. at Tucker Funeral Home in Central City, with Rev. Chase Thompson officiating. Burial will follow in Memorial Gardens in Powderly. Visitation will be Monday after 10:00 a.m. at the funeral home. Family and friends are asked to wear a face covering, in accordance with the governor’s mandate.
