DRAKESBORO – Cleveland Hocker, 79, of Drakesboro, died Wednesday, April 20, 2022, at Owensboro Health Muhlenberg Community Hospital. Born April 25, 1942, in Muhlenberg County, he worked for the City of Greenville Street Department, and was a member of Drakesboro Church of Christ. He enjoyed mowing grass, going to church, and spending time with family. He was preceded in death by his parents, Delbert and Illie Hocker; sister, Hilda Whitaker; brothers, Morris Hocker, Forest Hocker, and Horris Ray Hocker; and son-in-law, Sammy Noffsinger.
Survivors include his wife, Elsie Smith Hocker; children, Carolyn Noffsinger, Eddie (Priscilla) Drake, Diane Latham, David Drake, and Larry Ferguson, Jr.; nine grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be Saturday, April 23, 2022, at 11:00 a.m. at Tucker Funeral Home in Central City, with Bro. Kirby Duncan officiating. Burial will follow in Wilcox Cemetery.
