POWDERLY – Clemon Dukes, Jr., 74, of Powderly died Wednesday, August 11, 2021 at his residence. Born December 24, 1946 in Muhlenberg County, he was a custodian at Muhlenberg Central School. He was preceded in death by his parents Clemon and Ola Dukes, Sr.; sisters Barbara Wood and Edith Brown.
Survivors include his wife Linda Shadowen Dukes of Powderly; sons Michael (Charlotte) Dukes of Powderly and James Dukes of Greenville; daughter Delilah (Michael) Woodall of Greenville; grandchildren Michael Dukes, Travis Dukes, Cody Dukes, Brittany Dukes and Dylan Woodall; great-grandchildren Jayden Woodall, Jaylen Woodall, Kaylan Woodall, Emersyn Woodall; brother Freddie Dukes of Central City; sister Ann Baize of Greenville.
Funeral services will be Saturday, August 14, 2021 at 11:00 a.m. at Tucker Funeral Home in Central City with Bro. Larry Shadowen officiating. Burial will follow in Coleman Cemetery in Greenville.
