ROCKPORT – Clarence Edward Durall, Sr., 77, of Rockport, died Tuesday, June 6, 2023, at University of Louisville Hospital. Born April 23, 1946, in Muhlenberg County, he was an assembly line worker for Ford Motor Co. in Chicago, Ill., and a member of Pleasant View Baptist Church in McQuady. He loved going to church and he loved the Lord. After retiring, Mr. Durall moved to Kentucky and opened a bait shop which he loved, and he enjoyed seeing all the people that came into his shop. He was preceded in death by his parents, Steve and Mattie Durall; brothers, Junior Steve Durall and Benny Durall; and sisters, Wilene Hagar and Martha Mae Gill.
Survivors include his children, Rebecca Durall and Sara (Matthew) Moore; grandchild, Peter David Moore; sister, Betty Bowles; brother, Billy Joe (Janet) Durall; and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be Saturday, June 10, 2023, at 11:00 a.m. at Tucker Funeral Home in Central City, with Pastor Dale Massengale officiating.
