GREENVILLE – Christina Michelle “Christy” Hauslein, 48, of Greenville, died Sunday, August 18, 2024 at Owensboro Health Regional Hospital in Owensboro. Born November 9, 1975 in Chicago, Ill.. She worked as an EKG Tech in the ICU at Owensboro Health Regional Hospital and was of the Catholic faith. She loved working in healthcare and providing care and compassion to all those she interacted with. The beach was her place to rest and relax. Spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren was the biggest joy in her life. Christy and James enjoyed doing life together; 10 years dating and 22 years of marriage.
Survivors include her husband, James Hauslein; children, Haleigh Hauslein, Grace Hauslein, Kyle Hauslein, and Paul Hauslein; five grandchildren; sister, Leslie Pokoik; and mother, Mary Pokoik.
Memorial Services will be Saturday, August 24, 2024 at 10 a.m. at Tucker Funeral Home in Central City with Bro. Jerry Eades officiating. Burial will be private.
