SACRAMENTO – Christa Michelle Shepherd, 50, of Sacramento, died Monday, May 5, 2025 at 2:45 a.m. at her residence in Sacramento. Born July 15, 1974 in Madisonville. She was a member of Sacramento Cumberland Presbyterian Church and worked for McDonald’s in Madisonville as a Team Leader. Christa was a caregiver for Carter Miller, who was the light of her life. She also had many co-workers that she called friends at Madisonville McDonald’s and cherished her time with them. She enjoyed spoiling her grandchildren and spending time with them. She loved to go shopping. Her favorite thing was going shopping every Monday with her mom, Rita, aunts, Janie, and Betty, and cousin, Debbie. She was preceded in death by her father, Robert Rolley Jr.; and grandparents, Carl and Golda Gish, and Robert and Floelda Rolley.
Survivors include her mother, Rita Tooley; husband, Jerry Bowling; sons, Darr Shepherd, and Rica Shepherd; daughters, Bethany Shepherd, and Shauna Shepherd; eight grandchildren.
Graveside services will be Friday, May 9, 2025 at 12 p.m. at Shaver’s Cemetery in Sacramento with Dale
