Charles Floyd Robison

Greenville – Charles Floyd Robison, 87, of Greenville, passed away on Friday, February 7, 2025, at his residence. Born in Oklahoma June 1, 1937, to Harvey and Louise Robison. He was preceded in death by both his parents; sisters, Ladoris Frazee and Leta Richey; brothers, Harvey B. Robison and Granville Robison; great-granddaughter, Brynn Camp and son-in-law, Shannon Baker.

After the death of his father, Mr. Robison, as the eldest child in his family, had to quit school at an early age to support his family. When he was 18 years old he served four years in the air force as an air traffic controller stationed in Alaska and Japan. Following his military service, he moved to California, settling in Ventura County, where he started and ran a successful plastering business as a licensed contractor for over 40 years. Although he lacked a formal education, he could diagnose and fix anything, whether it be electric or mechanical.

In 1995 he bought a farm in Greenville, and retired there. He enjoyed raising cattle and watching deer (eat his soybeans). He was an avid hunter and made yearly trips elk hunting in Colorado throughout his life.
