GRAHAM – Charlene Lear Johnson, 71, of Graham, died Wednesday, October 2, 2024 at 6:15P p.m.at her residence. Born in Muhlenberg County on May 15, 1953. She was a member of Calvary Baptist Church and worked as a Caregiver for the Pennyroyal Center. She loved cooking, gardening, fishing, crafting, and playing with the grandkids. She was loved by everyone. Many called her “Mamaw”. She was preceded in death by her daughter, Nikki Watson; grandchildren, Madison Watson, Kenzie Watson, Morgan Watson, Emily Watson, Samuel Watson, Raegan Watson, Mark Watson, and Nathaniel Watson; parents, Roudan and Eunice Buchanan; brothers, Tommy Buchanan, and Phillip Buchanan; first husband, Jerry Ray Lear; and second husband, Robert Johnson.
Survivors include her sons, Jerry (Jennifer) Lear, and Joey (Regina) Lear; daughters, Kim Fulkerson (CJ Brady), and Amber Webster; sisters, Mable Groves, Shirley Dwyer, Carolyn Garrett, and Kay Zachary; brothers, Bruce (Lisa) Buchanan, and Chester (Laura) Buchanan; grandchildren, Kylie Watson, Jeri Beth Cobb (James Wicker), Sara (Michael) Latham, Timmy (Lauren) Stephens, Levi Lear, Stephanie Lear, Destiny Lear, Makaela (Cameron) Edge, Colton (Morgan) Brady, Brooklyn Brady, Jeremiah Brady, Josiah Brady, Destiny Jennings, and Katie Jennings; great-grandchildren, Gracie Cobb, Kaylee Cobb, Reagan Cobb, Levi Cobb, Riley Latham, Brystol Latham, Wyatt Latham, Rhett Stephens, Tripp Stephens, Carter Edge, Giovanni Edge, Ace Edge, Easton Edge, Emerson Edge, Chloe Brady, Caylee Brady, and Cainen Ashby; bonus son and daughter, Charles and Sheila Jennings.
