BELTON – Carole Ruth Lyons, 80, of Belton, died Sunday, March 3, 2024 at 3:01 a.m. at Owensboro Health Regional Hospital in Owensboro. Born July 3, 1943 in Logan County. She was a Retired Home Health Nurse for Baptist Health in Madisonville, and a member of Mt. Moriah Church of Christ. She was preceded in death by her husband, Lindel Lyons; parents, William and Alice Costello; brother, William Donald Costello; and son, John “J-Dub” William Lyons.
Survivors include her children, Larry Lyons, Ramona (James) Wright, Alice Lyons, J.C. Lyons, and Nina (Frank) Cottrell; 22 grandchildren; 39 great-grandchildren; sister, Nina Destler; and son, Micah.
Funeral services will be Friday, March 8, 2024 at 11 a.m. at Tucker Funeral Home in Central City with Bro. Bobby Allen officiating. Burial in Ebenezer Cemetery.
