GREENVILLE — Carol Ann (Thompson) Morgan, 72, of Greenville, passed away Friday morning February 2, 2024, at the Heartford House Hospice of Western Kentucky in Owensboro. Born August 11, 1951, in Shelby Miss., a daughter of the late William Thompson, and Lillie Mae (Thompson) Poer. Carol was preceded in death by her sister, Linda Morales; brothers, Buddy, Wayne, Steven Thompson, and Richard Poer. She was a homemaker, and a former waitress for many years. She enjoyed nothing more than spending time with her children and grandchildren. She loved all children, even those she had never met before. With a heart of gold, she touched so many lives. She also leaves many other family members and friends who will sadly miss her.
Survivors include her husband of 56 years Roger Morgan; two sons Kenneth William (Kimberly) Morgan and Keith Allen (Vickie) Morgan; five grandchildren Kristen Fallin, Katelyn Russell, Kassandra Sellers, Brianna Morgan, Trevor Morgan, and nine greatgrandchildren; two brothers Terry Thompson and Tommy Thompson; one sister, Elizabeth Dickerson.
Funeral service will be Tuesday, February 6, 2024 at 12:00 p.m. at Tucker Funeral home in Central City, with Brother Ed Tackett officiating. Burial will follow in the Woodland Cemetery in Greenville.
