Captola McGehee Miller, 97, of Greenville, died Saturday November 6, 2021 in the Owensboro Health Muhlenberg Community Hospital Long Term Care Unit. She was preceded in death by her husband Eual H. “Peaney” Miller and her parents Arthur and Annie McGehee, and several siblings. She was a homemaker and a member of Carter Creek Missionary Baptist Church.
Survivors include her children Brenda Vincent of Greenville, Tom Miller of Greensboro, N.C., Wendell Miller of Beech Creek, Bonnie Fitch of Greenville and Brent Miller of Greenville; 10 grandchildren; 18 great-grandchildren; five great-great grandchildren; sisters Louise Carver and Helen Sullivan; brothers Gene McGehee and Billy McGehee.
Funeral services will be Tuesday, November 9, 2021 at 2:00 p.m. at Carter Creek Missionary Baptist Church in Greenville with Brother John Day III officiating, assisted by Brother Donnie Wilkins and Brother Curtis McGehee. Burial will follow in Carter Creek Cemetery. Visitation will begin at 10:00 a.m. at the church. Gary’s Funeral Home will be in charge of the service.
