CENTRAL CITY – Camillia Elizabeth Rhodes, 89, of Central City, died Thursday, June 2, 2022, at Owensboro Health Muhlenberg Community Hospital. Born October 7, 1932, in Muhlenberg County, she was a homemaker and member of Church of God of Prophecy Church in Central City. She was preceded in death by her husband, Gordon E. Rhodes; parents, John and Carrie Daugherty; brothers, James Daugherty, John Mildred Daugherty, Samuel Daugherty, and Ira Daugherty; and sister Emma Jean Price.
Survivors include her children, Lois Majors, Elaine Rhodes, Ann Heggen, Mary Brown, Carolyn Stanley, and Lawrence Rhodes; 14 grandchildren; 23 great-grandchildren; sisters, Anna Dean Wells and Georgia Mae Mitchell.
Graveside funeral services will be Tuesday, June 7, 2022, at 10:00 a.m. at New Hope Cemetery in Moorman, with Bro. Millard Ray Daugherty officiating, assisted by Carolyn Erwin. Tucker Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements. Online condolences may be made at www.tuckerfuneralhomes.com.
