POWDERLY- Bruce Alan Kennedy, 56, of Powderly died Friday, July 7, 2023 at Owensboro Health Regional Hospital. Born September 18, 1966 in Evansville, Ind., he was a welder and a member of South Carrollton Missionary Baptist Church. He enjoyed fishing, four wheeling, anything to do with the outdoors, his friends, and his grand babies. Mr. Kennedy was preceded in death by his beloved mother, Anna Kennedy.
Survivors include his wife, Lori Dennison Kennedy; children, Kyle Kennedy, Cory (Abby) Kennedy, Josh Kennedy; grandchildren, Jeremiah Brooks, Eli Kennedy, Coralea Kennedy, Brooksleigh Kennedy; brother, Keith Kennedy; father, Billy (Rose) Kennedy.
Funeral services will be held Monday, July 10, 2023 at 2:00 p.m. at South Carrollton Missionary Baptist Church with Bro. Scott Heltsley officiating. Burial will be private. Visitation will be Monday, July 10, 2023, beginning at 10:00 a.m. at the church. In lieu of flowers, expressions of sympathy may take the form of contributions to the Bruce Alan Kennedy Memorial Fund c/o Tucker Funeral Home, P.O. Box 548, Central City KY 42330.
