Brenda Joyce (Vincent) English, 83, formerly of Greenville, passed away peacefully after a lengthy illness and went home to her family and her Lord Tuesday, February 25, 2025 at the Fairborn Assisted Living Center, Fairborn, Ohio.
Born in Greenville April 22nd, 1941 as the daughter of the late Roy and Ester (Lee) Vincent. She was a homemaker for over 60 years and enjoyed talking to old friends on the phone, making sure the yard was mowed correctly, and teaching and attending Sunday School and services at New Cypress Missionary Baptist Church. She also really loved to spoil her grand-daughter.
She is preceded in passing by her loving husband of 14 years, James W. English, her parents, her brothers, W.T., Bobby, and Charles, sister Roberta June.
Survivors include her son, Brother David Heltsley (Tera); grand-daughter, Laura M. Heltsley-Cost (Anthony), as well as several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held on Saturday, March 1, 2025 at 1:00 p.m. at Gary’s Funeral Home officiated by her son and Brother Tommy Drury with visitation beginning at 10 a.m. Burial will follow in New Cypress Cemetery in Greenville.
