DRAKESBORO- Bonnie Sue Grey, 82, of Drakesboro, died Friday, June 14, 2024 at her residence. Born October 5, 1941 in Joplin, Mo. She was married for 66 years to the love of her life, Thomas Grey. She was a homemaker and member of First Baptist Church of Drakesboro. Her favorite pastime was reading her bible, cooking and spending time with her children and grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents Kenneth and Nathalee Smith and siblings.
Bonnie spent her entire adult life traveling across the United States wherever her husband’s job took them. During those years of traveling, she never met a stranger and took every opportunity to share the love of Christ with everyone she met. She was a great prayers warrior. For many years Bonnie would send over 200 Christmas cards along with a personal note to all who touched her life. Her sweet and feisty personality was a joy to all.
Survivors include her husband, Thomas P. Grey; daughters, Sherri Miller, and Kerri Pryor; four grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; sisters-in-law, Marguerite Grey, Beth Malter and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be Monday, June 17, 2024 at 11:00 a.m. at First Baptist Church in Drakesboro with Bro. Curtis McGehee officiating. Burial in Ebenezer Cemetery. Visitation will be Monday, after 10:00 a.m. at First Baptist Church in Drakesboro. Tucker Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
