GREENVILLE – Blake Lamar Spurlock, 29, of Greenville died Saturday, December 2, 2023 at 6:55 p.m. at Owensboro Health Muhlenberg Community Hospital in Greenville. Born February 16, 1994 in Nashville, he worked as a Train Engineer for RJ Corman and was a member of New Life Church. He was preceded in death by his mother Loretta Raymer; and grandmother Mary Lou Shelton.
Survivors include his father Teddy (Mary Ann) Spurlock; fiancée Sydney Buchanan; daughter Kayvree Jolee Spurlock; sisters Morgan (Chris) Johnson, and Dara Bratcher; and brothers Jeremy (Ashley) Richie, Nathan (Lindsey) Richie, Colton (Alexess) Spurlock, Daniel Richie, Zachary Spurlock, and Michael Bayes.
Funeral services will be Wednesday, December 6, 2023 at 11:00 a.m. at Tucker Beechmont Funeral Home with Bro. Chad Brewer officiating. Burial will follow in Dunmor Cemetery.
