GRAHAM – Billy Ray Arnett, 83, of Graham, died Wednesday, January 31, 2024 at 2:00 a.m. at Owensboro Health Muhlenberg Community Hospital in Greenville. Born February 12, 1940 in Muhlenberg County, he was a retired Coal Miner for Caney Creek Coal Mines, an Army veteran, and a member of Corley Chapel General Baptist Church. He enjoyed farming, fishing, and camping. He loved his church and church family. Making friends came easy to him, and witnessing to others was his greatest commission. He was preceded in death by his parents, Bill and Bernice Arnett; and sisters, Myrtle Wright, and Faye Lyons.
Survivors include his wife Patsy Satterfield Arnett; daughter Laura (Eddie) Gayle; son Weston Kyle Arnett; grandchildren Weston (Sierra) Cole, Dylan Lee, Hayden, Hannah, Brock, and Riley; three great-grandchildren Gracyn, Lennon, and Carter; and sister Deloris Worth.
Funeral services will be Saturday, February 3, 2024 at 11:00 a.m. at Corley Chapel General Baptist Church in Graham with Bro. Patrick Baxter officiating. Burial will follow in Corley Chapel Cemetery.
