DRAKESBORO – Beverly Sue Mayes, 63, of Drakesboro died Tuesday, November 18, 2025 at Owensboro Health Muhlenberg Community Hospital in Greenville. Born May 9, 1962 in Muhlenberg County. She was a School Bus Monitor for the Muhlenberg County School System and a member of Union Ridge Community Church. She enjoyed spending time with her family, working for the Lord, going to the beach, and shopping and thrifting with her daughters and grand-daughters. She was preceded in death by her father, Vernon Richardson; mother, Lorene Richardson; and nephew, Brent Roberson.
Survivors include her husband, Jeffrey Mayes; daughters, Jennifer Cobb and Katie Manuel; three grandchildren; one brother; and one sister.
