BEECH CREEK – Benjamin “Blake” O’Bannon, 31, of Beech Creek, went to his eternal home with Jesus Monday, November 17, 2025 at 3:16 a.m. at the University of Louisville trauma center. Born April 18, 1994 in Bowling Green. He was a member of Hazel Creek Missionary Baptist church in Belton. Blake had an infectious personality, and if you were his friend, you had a friend for life. He loved his girls fiercely, and enjoyed playing basketball with Piper, watching movies with Paislee and jumping on the trampoline with both. Growing up, he loved to fish, hunt, ride his 4 wheeler, play football, basketball, and most of all build bond fires with his buddies in the back yard. He is preceded in death by his precious daughter Serenity Grace O’Bannon, paternal grandparents Jerry, Sr, and Betty O’Bannon, maternal grandfather Mike Blake, uncle Roy O’Bannon, aunt Kimberly Meadows and uncle George Meadows.
Survivors include his children Paislee and Piper, parents Jerry, Jr and Michelle O’Bannon, of Beech Creek, sister Ashley Hill of Greenville, nieces Dylan and Josie Hill and soon to be nephew, maternal grandmother Peggy Blake, aunts Shannon Martin, Judy Hunter, Sheryl Patton, Carol Elswick, Lishia O’Bannon, uncles Terry O’Bannon, Troy O’Bannon, many cousins, friends and extended family.
Funeral Services will be Friday, November 21, 2025 at 11 a.m. at Tucker Funeral Home in Central City with Bro. Barry Davis officiating. Burial in Hazel Creek Cemetery.
