GREENVILLE – Batsel Winslow Stovall, 82, of Greenville, died Wednesday, December 11, 2024 at 2:45 a.m. at Owensboro Health Muhlenberg Community Hospital in Greenville. Born November 17, 1942 in Muhlenberg County. He worked for the Administrative Office of the Courts of KY, was a Coal Miner, Missionary, and Baptist Preacher. He enjoyed fishing, playing cards, and spending time with family. He was preceded in death by his father, Batsel Stovall; mother, Nell Louise Vincent Stovall; and grandson, Mark Winslow Blake.
Survivors include his wife of 25 years, Bernice Stovall; three daughters, Stacey (Tom) Beaven of Murfreesboro, Tenn., Tracy (Scotty) Tournear of Hickman, Tenn., and Jannice (Joe) Brown of Lucama, N.C.; two sons, Jeremy (Candy) Blake of Hanson, and Devon (Elva) Garner of Dudley, N.C.; 14 grandchildren; and 13 great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be Sunday, December 15, 2024 at 1 p.m. at Tucker Funeral Home in Central City with Bro. Joe Chambers officiating. Burial in New Cypress Cemetery.
