Barbara June Lewis Cargill, 79, departed this life Friday, May 27, 2022 in Oakland County, Mich. Born July 7, 1942 in Muhlenberg County she was the seventh child born on the seventh day of the seventh month to John William and Tishia Marie (Fox) Lewis. She graduated from Drakesboro High School in 1960 and retired from Maytag Corporation in 2014.
Survivors include her three children, Barry Alan Cargill of Naperville, Ill., Bettina Lynn Swalec (Steve) of Davisburg, Mich. and Belinda G. Richardson of Old Fort, Tenn.; grandchildren, Jen Miller, Crystal Vartanian, Brittney Cargill, Tabitha Lola, Emma Swalec, Sarah Swalec, Katie Swalec and Bailey Richardson, and 10 great-grandchildren.
