ROCHESTER – Barbara Jane Brown, 77, of Rochester, died Friday, November 6, 2020 at Signature Health Care in Bowling Green. Born August 13, 1943, in Muhlenberg County. She was a homemaker and member of New Midway Missionary Baptist Church in Rochester. She was preceded in death by her husband, Darrel Brown; and great-granddaughter Rayle James Arnold.
Survivors include sons, Darrell Wayne Brown and Terry Allen Brown, both of Morgantown; daughter Teresa Arnold of Rochester; 10 grandchildren; 25 great-grandchildren; brother Wilbur Dukes of Greenville; and sister Ruth Ann Dukes of Greenville.
Funeral services will be Tuesday, November 10, 2020, at 2:00 p.m. at Tucker Beechmont Funeral Home, with Bro. Robert Dukes officiating. Burial will follow in Forest Grove Cemetery. Visitation will be Monday after 4:00 p.m. at the funeral home. Family and friends who are attending the visitation or funeral service are asked to wear a face mask for the safety of all those in attendance, in accordance with the governor’s mandate.
