CENTRAL CITY – Barbara Francine Caskey Walsh, 53, of Central City, died Wednesday, November 22, 2023, at 10:05 p.m. at her home after a long fight with cancer. Born April 4, 1970, in Greenville, to Robert and Karen Caskey. She worked at Goody’s, Daymar College, and Sonic Drive-In. She was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church and graduated from Greenville High School Class of 1989. Barbara wanted to be a grandmother more than anything else. Her grandson is due in February.
Barbara was preceded in death by her grandparents, Bob and Irene Creager, and Reed and Jennie Caskey; and niece, Trinity Eaves.
Survivors include her parents Robert and Karen Caskey; sons Andrew Williams and Brock Williams both of Nortonville; brother Robert (Sun Mi) Caskey, Jr. of Spotsylvania, Va.; sister DJ (Aaron) Eaves of Bremen; six nieces; three nephews; best friend Tracie Caskey; and three step-grandsons.
Funeral services will be Tuesday, November 28, 2023, at 11:00 a.m. at Tucker Funeral Home in Central City, with Bro. Chris Caskey and Fr. John Ighacho officiating. Burial will be private. Online condolences may be made at www.tuckerfuneralhomes.com.
