BELTON – Arnold Eugene Evans, 63, of Belton, died Wednesday, October 20, 2021, at Owensboro Health Muhlenberg Community Hospital. Born August 27, 1958, in Ohio County. He was a factory worker and pastored at Union Ridge General Baptist Church. He also served in the National Guard. He was preceded in death by his brothers, Boyd Evans and Edwin Evans; and father Russell Evans.
Survivors include his wife, Anita Day Evans; sons Steven Eugene Evans, Joshua Warren (Loretha) Evans, and Anthony Gayle (Jamie) Evans; grandchild Shelby Rose Evans; mother Helen Evans; brothers and sister, Floyd Evans, Ernest Evans, Della Teddleton, Gordon Evans, Evan Evans, and Marvin Evans and numerous nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be Saturday, October 23, 2021, at 12:00 p.m. at Mud River Union General Baptist Church, with Bro. David Youngblood officiating. Burial will follow in Mud River Union Cemetery. Visitation will be Friday after 5:00 p.m. at Mud River Union General Baptist Church and Saturday after 9:00 a.m. at the church. Tucker Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
