Anthony Lee (Drew) Hawkins, 57, of Central City, passed away on Sunday, June 5, 2022, at the Bradford Heights Nursing and Rehabilitation in Hopkinsville. Born, May 16, 1965, he was a mechanic and a carpenter, he fellowshipped with The Pentecostal Church of God In Christ and First Missionary Baptist Church, both in Greenville and Ebenezer Missionary Baptist Church in Central City. He was preceded in death by his parents Junior Hawkins and Costella Bard Hawkins; two brothers, Jeffery (Tate) Hawkins and Michael Hawkins.
Survivors include his loving wife, Betty Hawkins of Central City; sons, Andre Hawkins of San Antonio, Texas and Christopher Hawkins of Central City; five grandchildren; brothers, Edwin Hawkins of Greenville, Emmitt Hawkins of Fla., Timothy Hawkins of Greenville and Howard Hawkins of Greenville; sister Gail Anderson of Owensboro; one sister-in-law; two aunts; one uncle and a host of cousins, distant relatives and friends.
Memorial services will be Friday, June 10, 2022, at 12:00 p.m. at The Pentecostal Church of God In Christ in Greenville with Rev. Otis Cunningham, Eulogist. Bibbs Funeral Home, in Greenville, is in charge of arrangements.
