DRAKESBORO – Anna L. Garrett, 85, of Drakesboro, died Saturday, July 30, 2022, at 4:30 p.m. at Maple Health & Rehabilitation in Greenville. Born December 11, 1936, in Beech Creek, she was a secretary for Swift Craft Factory and a member of Belton Beechmont General Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her husband, Oscar L. Garrett, and parents, Roy L. and Grace Jernigan.
Survivors include her children Ricky (Kay) Garrett of Belleville, Ill., Ronnie (Teresa) Garrett of Beechmont, Cathy (Larry) Gidcumb of Vine Grove, Ky., Paulette (Bobby) Allen of Drakesboro, Scott Garrett of Beaver Dam, LaDonna Garrett of Vine Grove, Ky.; grandchildren, Veronica (Dave) McDowell, Nathaniel (Cassie) Garrett, Devonne (Joshua) Stirsman, Brianna (Tim) Leahy, Jeremiah (Caty) Gidcumb and Garrett Gidcumb; great-grandchildren, Catheryn McDowell, Andrew McDowell, Brayden Faust, Sophia Garrett, Savannah Garrett, Scarlett Garrett, Isaiah Stirsman, Nolan Leahy, and Carson Leahy.
Funeral services will be Thursday, August 4, 2022 at 11:00 a.m. at Tucker Funeral Home in Central City, with Rev. Bobby Allen, Jr. officiating. Burial will follow in Allens Chapel Cemetery.
