BREMEN – Anna “Jean” Hoover Uzzle, 101, of Bremen, passed away Monday, March 10, 2025, at residence under the care of Hosparus Health. Born October 13, 1923, to the late Tanner Hoover and Mayme Vincent.
She was a homemaker who enjoyed cooking and spending time with her family. She enjoyed Christmas and she loved her church and church family. She was a member of Mt. Pisgah Baptist Church for 90 years and she was also the oldest member at the time of her death.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband of 50 years, David Uzzle; and son Bryan Hoover Uzzle.
Survivors include her daughter, Donna Uzzle Brown; grandson, Tanner (Whitney) Brown; and great-grandsons, Cannon and Cubby.
Visitation will be at Mt. Pisgah Baptist Church Friday, March 14, 2025, from 10:00 a.m. – 1:00 p.m., and funeral service at 1:00 p.m. with Dr. Glenn Armstrong officiating assisted by Bro. Adam Brown. Burial in Mt. Pisgah Cemetery. Expressions of sympathy may be made to The Gideons International. Envelopes will be made available at the service. Tucker Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
