GREENVILLE – Angela “Angel” Denise Perry, 64, of Greenville, died Tuesday, August 29, 2023, at 7:28 p.m. at Jewish Hospital in Louisville. Born December 8, 1958, in Muhlenberg County, she was a clerk and secretary for Muhlenberg County Board of Education. She was known as Granny to Joanna, Gan to A’Layah, Aunt Angel to some, and Nuna to some as well. She was preceded in death by her husband, Bo Perry; father, Larry Jenkins; and brother, Wade Jenkins.
Survivors include her children, Larrah Perry and Cody Perry; grandchildren, Joanna Perry and A’Layah Lovan; sister, Amy (Tracy) Bratcher; brother, Rex Jenkins; and mother, Betty Jenkins.
Funeral services will be Friday, September 1, 2023, at 11:00 a.m. at Tucker Funeral Home in Central City, with Bro. Robert Lindsay officiating. Burial will follow in Highway Cemetery.
