GREENVILLE — Andrea Christine Tarrants, 76, of Greenville passed away on Saturday, February 21st, 2026 at Maple Health and Rehabilitation in Greenville, Kentucky. She was born in Greenville, Kentucky, on May 03, 1949, the daughter of the late Hoyt Newman and Eula Cornette Newman. She was a teacher at Audubon Area Head Start and a member of Greenville Second Baptist Church.
She is preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Luther Edward Tarrants and a sister, Melinda Lou Brown.
Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, February 25, 2026 at 1:00 PM from Gary’s Funeral Home in Greenville, KY., with Rev. Roger Heltsley officiating. Burial will follow at Carter Creek Cemetery in Greenville, KY.
Andrea is survived by two sons, Timothy Tarrants, Sr., Brian Tarrants, Sr, one daughter, Amy Beth Tarrants; daughter-in-law, Leigh Ann Miller; five grandchildren, Marissa Tarrants, Brian Tarrants, Jr., Timothy Tarrants, Jr., Harley Tarrants, Colby Colyer, Keaton Colyer; one great-grandchild, Colson Lane Tarrants and several nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, February 25, 2026, from 10:00 am until the time of the funeral at Gary’s Funeral Home.
