CENTRAL CITY – Alvernon Randolph, 87, of Central City died Sunday, June 11, 2023 at 1:56 p.m. at Owensboro Health Muhlenberg Community Hospital in Greenville. Born July 22, 1935 in Muhlenberg County, he was a member of New Harmony Baptist Church and a retired Peabody Coal Miner. He loved playing his guitar, playing golf, hunting, his dog Poppy, spending time with friends, but most of all he loved Jesus. He was preceded in death by his wife, Wanda Clara Randolph; parents, Herbert and Gladys Randolph; brothers, Clark, Carol, and Lyndell Randolph; and sons, Tim and Darren Randolph.
Survivors include his sister, Nelda Carter; grandkids; great-grandkids; and great-great-grandkids.
Funeral services will be Wednesday, June 14, 2023 at 1:00 p.m. at Tucker Funeral Home in Central City with Bro. Mike Neal officiating. Burial will follow in New Harmony Cemetery.
