SACRAMENTO – Allen J. Gish, age 73, of Sacramento, died Friday, February 16, 2024, at his residence. Born September 17, 1950, in Greenville. He was a retired maintenance worker at Kentucky Utility Company and a member of Sassafras Grove Church. He enjoyed spending time at flea markets on weekends and especially time spent with his grandchildren and his wife Judy of 54 years. He was preceded in death by his parents Joseph Amos and Mary Ella Gish, brothers, Freddie Gish, Keith Gish and Timmy Gish.
He is survived by his wife Judy; son, Darain Gish of Sacramento and daughter, Julie Davis of Central City; five grandchildren; one great-granddaughter Smit; brother, Ricky Joe Gish and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be Sunday, February 18, 2024, at 2:00 p.m. at Tucker Memorial Chapel in Sacramento with Bro. Jackie Dale Townsend and Bro. J.W. Haire officiating. Burial will follow in Bethlehem Cemetery in Bremen. Visitation will be Sunday, from 10:00 a.m. – 2:00 p.m. at the funeral home. Tucker Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
