BELTON – Aline Marie Cartwright, 90, of Belton died Sunday, September 8, 2024 at 9:23 p.m. at Greenville Nursing and Rehab. in Greenville. Born June 2, 1934 in Ennis. She was a Homemaker and a member of Belton General Baptist Church. She loved spending time with her family; especially her grandchildren; she also enjoyed cooking and quilting. She was preceded in death by her husband, Estil Cartwright; parents, John Amos and Hazel Fleming; sister, Elsie Fleming; and brothers, John Amos “Shorty” Fleming, Bobby Fleming, and Eddie Fleming.
Survivors include her four daughters, Shirley (Mickey) Travis, Sharon (Tommy) Stanley, Ann (Stan) Welker, and Vickie (Doyle) Bethel; son, James Darren Cartwright; two brothers, Dean Fleming, and Claude Fleming; seven grandchildren, Connie (Troy) Hardison, Melissa (Darryl) Thompson, Wade (Stephanie) Johnson, April (BJ) Beliles, Danny (Amy McElvain) Cartwright, Shannon (Kaleb) Page, Zack (Jaycee) Bethel; great-grandchildren, Amber Travis, Sarah Hinton, Ty Hardison, Alli Hardison, Kyle Hardison, Lilly Page, Jackson Beliles, Allison Beliles, Haley Beliles, Addilynn Bethel, Ravyn Cartwright; and two great-great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be Wednesday, September 11, 2024 at 1 p.m. at Tucker Funeral Home in Central City with Bro. Mickey Travis officiating. Burial in Union Chapel Cemetery.
