CENTRAL CITY – Alene Lee Campbell, 94, of Central City, died Tuesday, January 12, 2021, at Owensboro Health Regional Hospital. Born July 3, 1926, in Caneyville, she was a homemaker and member of Calvary Baptist Church. She loved spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren. She also loved yard sales and Moonlite BBQ. She was preceded in death by her husband, David Campbell; son Bill Campbell; daughter-in-law Jean Campbellvand parents Emmitt and Albinie Lee.
Survivors include her sons, Jeff (Tanya) Campbell and Bobby Campbell, both of Paducah; grandchildren Jack (Cindy) Campbell, Michael (Rhetta) Campbell, Cathy (Kevin) Cessna, Jennifer Campbell (Michael Bryant), and Colby Campbell; great-grandchildren Chelsea (Chaz) Conrad, Trevor Nolan, Ryelynn Nolan, Easton Campbell, Reign Penticost, and Lane Cessna; great-great-grandchild Zana Conrad and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be Friday, January 15, 2021, at 1:00 p.m. at Tucker Funeral Home in Central City, with Bro. Curtis McGehee officiating, assisted by Bro. Scott Casebier. Burial will follow in Fairmount Cemetery. Visitation will be Thursday after 5:00 p.m. at the funeral home. Family and friends are asked to wear a face covering, in accordance with the governor’s mandate. Capacity will be limited to comply with current state guidelines.
