Alan Ray Witchelhouse, 50 of Woodhaven passed away Friday, November 10, 2023.
He was the beloved son of Donald and Beverly; loving brother of Donald L. (Jodi) and James W. (Linda); dearest fiance of Angie Palazzolo; dear uncle of Ryan (Rachael), Amanda, William, Jacob Rowe and Molly (Brian) Kerr; great uncle of Olivia; nephew of Shirley Vaught and Jerry Noffsinger; also survived by many cousins and close friends.
Alan attended both the Madison Center and JoBrighton Skills Center in Wyandotte, Mich. He continued his education in his later years by attending various programs through The Arc Downriver and the Arkay in Southgate, Mich., a favorite program of his was the painting class. When Alan was not attending a class, you would find him busy working. He worked many years for Kmart, Comerica Park, Ford Field, Little Caesars and was looking forward to working at the Java Junction Coffee Shop in Trenton, Mich. through the Arkay program.
Alan’s hobbies included various sports, swimming, bowling, basketball, soccer and poly hockey. He showed off his talents by attending the Special Olympics every year, where he won many medals. He was also an avid fan of World Wrestling Entertainment, a couple of his heroes included John Cena and Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson.
Alan was a long time member of Southgate Free Will Baptist Church, where he served diligently as an usher. He will be remembered for the best hugs, the laughter and love he brought to his family and friends.
Visitation and Services were held from Molnar Funeral Homes – Brownstown Chapel, 23700 West Road, Brownstown, Michigan.
