GREENVILLE – Margie Nell Hancock, 79, of Greenville, passed away on Saturday, October 1, 2022 at her residence.  Born in Muhlenberg County on July 24, 1943, she was the daughter of the late Jack Bivins and Mable Bivins.  Margie attended Landmark Assembly of God.  

In addition to her parents, Margie was preceded in death by her first husband Estil Daugherty, her sons Michael Daugherty and Jamie Hancock, a grandson Estil Daugherty, a brother Virgil Bivins, and a sister Myrtle Skalicky.

Margie is survived by her husband, Pastor Larry Hancock of Greenville; two sons, Cary Daugherty of Greenville, Tommy (Annie) Daugherty of Bowling Green; one step-son, Terry Culaper of Shelbyville, Ind., seven grandchildren; seven great grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, October 4 at 1:00 PM at Gary’s Funeral Home in Greenville, with Pastor Shane Garrett officiating.  Burial will follow in Landmark Cemetery in Greenville. Visitation will be held on Tuesday, October 4 from 10:00 AM until time of funeral at 1:00 PM at Gary’s Funeral Home in Greenville.
