Drakesboro – Dawn Marie O’Brien, 55, of Drakesboro, died Tuesday, December 30, 2025, at 11:18 a.m. at her residence. Born October 2, 1970, in Chicago, Ill.. She was an waitress for Huddle House, and she was a member of the Abundant Life Church. Dawn was preceded in death by her parents, Gloria June Pressley, and Wayne Kenneth O’Brien Sr.; her step-father, Tom Pressley; and her brother, Wayne Kenneth O’Brien Jr.

Survivors include her children, Colby (Aaliyah) O’Brien, and Chase Steele; her grandchildren, Karter O’Brien, Kaiden O’Brien, Julaina O’Brien, and Tate Steele Wilson; her brother, Joseph Ray Pressley; her nephew, Joseph Konnor Pressley; and her niece, Emberlyn Sky Pressley.

Memorial services will be Saturday, January 3, 2026, at 11:00 a.m. at Abundant Life Church in Central City, with Bro. Larry Hamby officiating.  Burial will be private.  Visitation will be Saturday at 10 a.m. at the church.  Online condolences may be made at www.tuckerfuneralhomes.com.
